( Sang-myong-ryok : life force / vitality) .

For this series , I used the monotype method to capture the quiet energy that moves beneath the surface of plants. 

Each monotype is numbered and presented here. 

Rather than depicting plants literally, these works focus on their rhythm and presence, the unseen pulse that connects all living things. Through texture, layering and gesture, I seek to evoke that vitality. ​
